Strolling back from the beach, stumbled upon what is unquestionably my new favorite part of Kitsilano.
Yes.
That is a gorgeous bench that some sweet homeowner built for passersby to unconditionally relax under the shade of a tree, whilst perusing the free and open book exchange, rained upon by the aroma of freshly blooming roses, and blessed by prayer flags.
That is fucking perfect storm of epic if I've ever seen one.
This bear is more clothed than most beach goers here.

I'd wager we all feel equally hungover in the morning.
Flower chains and bus rides.
Springtime special.

I (don't quite) love the smell of carbon monoxide in the morning (at all, actually).
But the sunshine and the vistas make it worthwhile.
